Anyway some of the photoshop gurus could do a mockup of what a sedan with the OEM G37 19's would look like?

Nice. But they somehow appear smaller than 19 on the sedan. Very simple and elegant, though.

Great job! This almost comfirms the coupe and sedan sharing similar suspensions.

BTW ... have you thought about taking the "S" badge off as well? Looks like you have ketchup on there!

Awesome!

Now all you need is a lip and you're good to go.

How much were they?

Tint is going on today.....I agree, the ketchup probably has to go. I will post pics later this evening to show you the close up orientation and how the wheels fill the wheel well.

Funny story is I was initially shopping the 08 coupe. I saw one a couple of months back at Niello in Concord that was on the showroom floor with 20" TSW's. I had a beautiful 06 G Coupe that I bought used in May, drove the heck out of, and enjoyed, but really started to get excited about the new coupe. Well.........went into the dealer, told them what I wanted on my G (which I previously bought VERY right from a private party), started looking at the practicallity of the sedan (I have 3 kids), and made a deal for invoice and great value on my coupe, drove out in the loaded 2007 S.

Started trying to find coupe wheels and tires - saw some for $1800 on this forum, and boom they were sold......Remembered the car at Niello, called the parts manager, asked about the take off wheels, he found them in the back. He wanted $2k - I told him I would give him $1800 and they needed to re-calibrate the TPMS that were in the coupe wheels. $1800 plus tax out the door with TPMS calibrated. I have my BRAND NEW 18" stock G35S wheels available with TPMS on the forum for $1150. Ideally, Looking at a $850 swing to the upgraded 19". They really look at home on the car.

King Tint is throwing on the 3M as we speak, and that will hopefully finish it off. Not really in favor or excited about lowering the car, and quite honestly, I am happy with the look relative to ride height. The 19" wheels are definitely a little louder over the concrete freeway grooves, but they look so good!

FWIW

I agree 100% Don't lower the car. the 19" just "dropped" the car naturally.

I'm going to give my standard answer that I'm just not 100% happy with either option. Stock on 19s is too much gap, lowered on any of the springs out there is just a tad too low.

One day...oh one day...we will have some springs that go down less than an inch. By that time I'll be complaining about something else though I'm sure...

I like the way my stock 18s look better than the 19s, but its all personal opinion.

For tint - any recommendations on 3M vs. Huper Optik? I'm planning on getting mine done soon. My dad (who still has no say - it's my car) scoffed at me when I said I was getting my windows tinted...he claims that there's no tint out there that won't bubble or fade or turn purple. Am I in for this fate with 3M or Huper? I know they typically have lifetime warranties but I'd rather not deal with having to get a replacement done a few years down the road because my tint looks purplish.
