LEDs take less amp then normal bulbs...

 

All of the decent illuminated sills come with all the hardware you need... it's usually a low-voltage strip connected to an inverter, and that goes to your door switch and 12V constant.

It's really a snap to do and relatively safe, as long as you tap into the right wires...

 

Who makes them?

 

^^^ they have them on japanparts.com, just didnt want to change the emlems to match.

 

At $300 it's not a bad deal if it's all 4 and they say Infiniti...

At $300 for Skyline and have to hack up your own, that's not so good.

 

im gonna call and ask the dealer if the ones they have will fit the sedan also. they had them for $320

 

Not a fan of those.

But will come on market for sure.

i am actually having a friend of mine who does high end custom sound system installs do some interior lighting work on my car in the next couple of weeks. We will be installing led's under dash and seats to illuminate the floor, as well as led strips mounted under the doors to shine light on the ground when opening the door. We are also working on illuminating the Infiniti logo on the front and rear door sill. Got some options, all with some challenges but should be able to do it and tie it all in to the door switches. Will take pics and post when done.
