illuminated kick plates

does anyone know if this is available for the sedan? i tested a coupe today and noticed that it had light up kick plates on the door sill. it was a $320.00 option on the coupe. japanparts.com had them but they say skyline on them, any help would be appreciated. ill post some pics of them later.

I haven't heard of anything offered for the 07 sedans but I'm sure it's just a matter of time. Although it will probably be a little tricky to install since you'll need to run electricity to the area.

i think the plates are pre-wired and all you have to do is splice them into the door lights. it would be a nice touch though dont you think!

they had this planned for the g35 coupe last year...but it still hasn't made it to production.

i wouldn't count on this for the 07 sedan any time soon.

They sound like a pretty good idea, but I'd be even more PO'd when my stupid friends rub their muddy shoes on them.

I have them in my Benz and they look nice. I'm supposed to pick up a spare set of door sills but I've been too busy... after I get them I'll start working on them.

Only problem is choosing what color... Blue always looks nice, but I think a soft white would look better.

Found them on an Acura... they look decent even on a sedan...

I'd like to have them as well. Having the kick plates illuminated with the same type of LEDs that shine on the console would look kick azz.

I'm concerned about splicing them into door lights' wires unless these are LED type lamp that don't take lots of amps, otherwise it's not safe.

The stock ones are much nicer than those in my opinion, but the Acura ones look hot.
