I took my G in today for service.. (sunroof, wheel vibration, squeaky brakes)

and I mentioned that I get a door rattle on the drivers side sometimes when I play music.. he said they will take the door apart and fix it.. should I be alarmed by this?

It sounds scary for them to take my door apart.. but I guess better them than anyone else right?

Have any of your had their rattles fixed by the dealer?

 

I dislike my dealer very much... however i to have a slight rattle, driver door when you shut it... not hard, just normal door closing,, and when i am in the car you can hear things that i do not think are normal.. BTW can't hear it if your standing outside, just in seat... Just make sure the service writer sees your door is FLAWLESS!! in and out, so IF you notice something odd, or smudged, or cracked, THEY DID IT!! regards....

 

I've tried to have things fixed by the dealer and it never comes out right, often better but never right. Ask yourself how annoying the rattle is and whether you really need it done.
