Got my car earlier this week. The dealer mentioned the tint and bra but didn't push it or even directly ask if I wanted it. As we're finishing up, they said that if I want either get back to them, but that the bra should go on within the first two weeks.

I've never tinted a car before and other than what it does for the looks what are its benefits.

The bra as described, the entire front end, door handle cups and trunk seemed to be a potentially good idea.

Are these items that can be negotiated after the car is out the door? The stated prices were $450 and $1,395 and what should I be paying for these two items if I choose to have them added.

i am also considering tint/clear bra...i am def gonna tint, but not sure about clear bra.

 

Those prices are terrible. You should be able to get both installed by a reputable tint shop for much much less.

 

i got tint on all five windows for less than 200.
i got clear bra on front bumper, front of hood, fenders, headlights, mirrors, door hamdle cups, edge of doors gas cap and trunk lip for 1200, which i tink may be a bit high. hope this helps.

 

ya way too much for tint, not sure about clear bra tho. you can get a real good tint job done for just under 200.
