I noticed today a long vertical crack in my windshield. It starts at the top of the windshield and runs down to the center. It roughly follows the line where the rear view mirror is attached to the windshield and the wiring channel that extends from the rear view mirror to the roof.

Is this covered under the Infiniti warranty? Has this happened to anyone else, and did Infiniti replace it?

 

If there is no sign of any stone chip along that crack they might. It doesn't hurt to try.

 

I had this problem with my 2004 G; there was no sign of impact so they replaced it under warranty (stress crack wa written on the invoice).

I just got a crack on mine too. but it was cause from a big a$$ rock hitting it on the freeway.
