Programmable Electronic Automatic Transmission Controller

I saw this mentioned on some other boards a while ago, and so I posted in the forum on their website. Here's the thread:

I haven't looked yet, but I thought we had an external controller, which would suggest that this unit might work for us. Comments?

Curious to see when this will be coming out. Will it work on all the vehicles that come with this transmission? (ie 350Z, Titan, etc.)

We have already adapted our controller to the RE5R05A. We are working on a plug-n-play wiring harness for some of the vehicles with this transmission. Unfortunately the RE5R05A uses a computer inside the transmission on some vehicles (350z for example) and we are currently unable to do aything with these versions.

How about for the Infiniti G35? Is the controller the TCM? I think it's external on the G35. Could you confirm which vehicles that have the RE5R05A work with your product?

We are unable to confirm through the documentation we have which vehicles use and internal TCM or an external TCM. I can confirm the first year G35 sedan had an external tcm. The first year 350z had an internal tcm.
