Rear bumper

I noticed that the seam between the driver side rear bumper and quarter panel is not flush. I have looked at one (1) other G and noticed the same thing. I have not been hit nor do I park where someone else parks behind me. Anyone else with the same problem?

Sorry ... the bumper cover and quarter panel sit flush on mine and the gap in between is even.

It's just the luck of the draw if you get one that is flush. Many of these cars come from the factory with different clearances on the bumpers as well as as trunk lids and other body parts. Mass production is not a perfect science.

i noticed that the other day when washing the car also. Thought it was just mine but you guys think Infiniti would do anything about it? Im guessing not.

Has anyone else noticed that behind the back tires in the lower part, it just seems really weak and flimsy? You can easily push it in with your hand and seems like it could easily get damaged.

^^ I can attest to that - it's held on by a mat piece (feels like hard felt/fibre), and it tears pretty easily.

Oh, and I don't have that panel fit issue.

Fit-N-Finish damn tight on mine... maybe your tint has contracted and pulled the body panels in.

J/K
Any other mods that might have affected this panel? Ever backed up over a dead cow?
Seriously, that doesn't look right. I'd mention it to the dealer and see if they can pull it in a bit.

I guess you were one of the lucky ones. Anyway, it seems that this is not an isolated thing due to the feedback up to this point. Will definitely notify dealer.

I agree, if mine was like that I would be complaining to the Dealer for sure.

My fit is okay but I agree about the lower part of the bumper by the wheels. I noticed how flimsy that area is when washing my car. It does not take much pressure for it to flex.

Mine is tight and flush here! Take that baby to the dealer to have it corrected!

it's a mass produced car, and a bit of variation is inevitable.

my trunk and my left side rear panel are not flush.
