Did I pay too much?!
Your lease deal is not bad for an '08 for 24 months with 15K miles per year.
If you don't intend on keeping the car for more than 3yrs, it's better to lease anyway. You don't have to pay the whole sales tax (if you're in CA) on a purchase and lose out when you trade in although leases may have acquisition and disposition fees.
I like to lease which allows me to drive new cars every couple of years.

Leased an 08 G35X with Nav, Prem, and dealer "options"
Sticker was $39,995...
Terms: 24 months
Mileage: 15K
Down Payment: $2500
Monthly Payment: $572.XX
Does something seem strange here?! Please let me know what you think!

$40k sticker, 2 year lease for $675 w/ 0 down sounds reasonable.
You're paying a slight premium cause you did a 24 month lease but being able to swap the car in two years is a nice luxury. I think you did pretty good. If you bought the car and wanted to sell it in two years I think you'd be worse off and be out of the pocket more over the two years.

My father in law went to the same dealer a few months later to get the same deal, and the best they can do was $475 a month. It also depends on timing and supply, I obviously went at a better time than he did.

shuaiguy, your lease is pretty much what the car should cost/mo. however, the down payment places the payments a bit over the top.
are you sure that the 2500 is not for title, regi, and bank fee and not the down payment?
Just watch out for the mileage, I had a less once and the miles piled up on me and I had to pay at the end. I will not buy a lease again as a primary car but I would as a second car which is driven much less.
