Well I will be posting in the new owner section shortly as I have just purchased a terrific new 2008 g35 sedan. From my brief test drive, and drive home, as I have been too busy this weekend to drive I have discovered much to my liking:

1. The navigation touch screen is available while moving. At least I can select POIs when moving. I would have thought all this would have been locked out. As I experiment more I will report. But I may be mistaken, so is a there a function I can test while moving?

2. The throttle in has been improved, it does not take off like in the 2007 if you are not careful.

The touch screen should work when driving. What you need to test is the locked out items, that usually involve scrolling.

For POIs do a search for restaurants of something. When it returns, you will see 5 on the main screen, and it will say "5/52" or some number. See if while moving you can scroll down to see the next 5 or not.

The seach is always enabled on the 2007's, the ability to see more than 5 if locked out while in motion, and available while the car is not moving.
