Intake and Warranty Question
For those of you who have an aftermarket intake, if and when you bring your car in for service, do you plan on re-installing the stock intake as to not void any warranties or are you not concerned with that?
The dealerships don't generally care about what you do to your car, as long as it doesn't break anything.
If you have a ton of problems with your car, then you should go back to stock before you take it in so they don't say anything... or find a dealer that's "mod friendly"
Otherwise if you're just taking your car in for regular service and nothing's wrong, they don't care.

Just because you have an intake doesn't mean they can void your warrenty.
They can only void it when they can prove that the exhaust caused the problem that you're trying to get fixed under warranty. And even if they do, they don't void the whole warranty, just the part the exhausts and whatnot fall under.

I just installed a Fujita. I think is lloks nicer and is cheaper (287 delivered). A lot of proplr say performance is the same. Do a search on this forum - there's been plenty of discussion.

Like people have said, the dealership has to prove the problem was caused by the aftermarket part.
BUT, better safe than sorry. If you (for example) blow up your tranny. They could blame the "extra power" from the modifications.
For the most part, you'll never get crap from a dealership about bolt on mods.
