Splash Guards...yay or nay?

I'm trying to decide on putting splash guards on my car. Looking for some opinions on their usefulness as well as what they ad asthetically to the car. Vote to help me out...

(Thank you to DRob...this is his ride)

Personally, I like the car better without them. It looks cleaner to me. However, when I was shopping for my G every dealer only had cars with them already on.

The splash guards on my G 35 Sport are minimal. But they do the job.

Aesthetically the splash guards turn down the horizontal slightly, which I like. On the Sport model the front fascia also turns down on either side, sort of like Silvio's mouth on the Sorpranos. So, for the Sport model, at least, splash guards work both functionally and, for me, aesthetically.

G35 Coupe "Sport Package"
for coupes, with the rear is much better and more finished looking. front can take it or leave it since I will probably replace with INGS+1 sides . for your sedan, it looks better without.

I kept mine on for a year cuz I thought they looked good. I took them off and found the lines of the car to be much cleaner. They still sit in my garage. Plus, they would scrape over some speed bumps & driveways.

what a poll. . .theres no way it looks better with them on,
I didn't want them on mine, but it came with them. . .
now that I have them. . I'm sort of glad. . .it does look like they have helped keep
road grime off the fenders

but no way it looks better with them. . .much cleaner with out
