close up pictures of clear bra?

Does anyone have some close up pictures of their clear bra?

I'm considering doing the bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors but I don't want it to be too noticable.

It's going on a Liquid Platinum '08 G35 sedan.

Here's a few pics of my car with the clear bra. I have the front bumper kit and used the remaining piece from the bumper kit to cover the leading edge of the hood, it covers the hood from where the fender and bumper meet up to the front.

I have the Xpel kit with uses 3M film and the bra is not noticeable in person unless you get up real close, although the lighting in the first pic does show some difference.

A local Xpel/3M installer offered me this price for the following:

Part Number Product Name
P1514U 2008-2008 Infiniti G35 Sport Paint Kit (Bumper 30" Extended Coverage)
P1514AD 2008-2008 Infiniti G35 Sport Paint Kit (Hood/Fender/Mirror Bikini)
P1514V 2008-2008 Infiniti G35 Sport Paint Kit (Luggage Area)

$839.88 installed.

Does that sound about right to people who have had this done?

Depends on the region you are in . In Southern CA, that would seem a little high. Where does the "Luggage Area" kit cover? No headlight kit?

I may do a BAT overlay after tint... so i'm holding off.

The luggage area is the top of the rear bumper. No scuffs when loading/unloading things.

IMO, the headlight kit may be a better investment unless you plan to haul a lot of stuff in your sedan. You may also want to consider the door handle pockets. That area will get scratched up VERY soon if it isn't already.

yea, for $30 it'll protect it from anyone who isn't as careful as i am wrestling groceries out the back or something though.

Do the headlights have a problem with pitting or damage?

It's made of clear plastic. Sooner or later, it will become less clear. Remember to think about the door handle pockets as well.

3M is a great product. It's warrantied and I haven't found it to discolor.

From those out there that have put on a few thou miles on the '07-08, does the hood itself really get that exposed to chips? I really don't like the line and slight diff in glossiness, plus harder to wax, if the hood line is there? Any inputs? I think it's more noticeable on the darker colors like my BS.

coverage and cost?

I got quoted on a non-bikini style one and cutting a few other corners and it looks like it could be ~$550 vs. the setup i picked.
