List of issues....

I have to bring my car in for the following list of issues:

1. Drivers side door - The motor seems to be dying as its slow to go up and the auto up no longer works. I already had the rear passenger motor replaced because it was making noises.
2. Brake issues? I have the famous brake noise and I have to step on the brakes more to stop the car. I hope the brakes cant be going at 16k miles, I hope they are not warped either.
3. Keys replaced

Also a possible 4th is vibration when the car is idle or when I am about to accelerate after stopping. Very annoying. I might have to bring it in another time for this, might be hard to duplicate and I will only get frustrated. I also need an oil change.

I am more worried about the brakes, I loved how they stopped right away if you press it a little. Now, the noise plus much less braking efficiency is pissing me off.

What's the vibration? Describe more.

"when I am about to accelerate"

How does the car know you're about to accelerate? Is it when you take your foot off the brake? What noise is it making? From where?

On the brake problem / noise; do you mean the slight squeal under light braking? Mine does that, I've stopped worrying about it. Regarding braking power, oddly I've noticed that my wife's cars always had brakes that seemed to engage faster than mine. Given the difference in our driving style (my brakes work harder ), I've wondered if my pads are getting glazed or something weird like that.

In your case, does braking power seem diminished, or just that they don't seem to take effect as fast?

I take my foot off of the brake and press the gas and I can feel a tiny bit of vibration. Its almost like I have the AC on fullblast or some thing, and no...climate control was off.

If I really press on the brakes then the car stops, its just that before if I slightly tapped on the brakes...it stopped. I loved that, its just annoying now that I have to really get on them.

Are you sure it's not just you getting used to the brakes, not trying to be a smart a$$, just a question. I know sometimes mine on my '05 would seem that way, we drove a Charger to Vegas this summer, and when I got back in my G, the brakes seemed like I just needed to "touch" them. As far as the noise, if it is a sqeak under light braking, that may be caused by a glaze on the pads, from light braking, in two years + I've owned my '05, they have made that squeak off and on the whole time, nothing wrong with the brakes, actually at 22k they still look new!

I too have had the window issue on my driver side. It would go down fine... but when i raised the window... it would slow down as if the motor was going bad. Took it to the dealer and they fixed it. They said it just needed to be lubricated, and now it goes up faster than all my other windows. lol

I have this vibration but i thought it was because i lowered it. I remember hearing the same exact sound in my friends 240sx
