Angry Incident - smashed my hood!

Hey guys,
I had one of these special days today... bad luck day that is. I used to have a 2004 TSX before I got my G35 2007... and it was what I used to call a jinxed car... first week some kid threw a brick in it, then someone rear ended me at 50 milles and hour... then someone smashed while it was parked and so on.... I decided to sell it!! I had my G35 since May of this year...and I was soo happy that these adventures stopped.... until today.

I was driving at around 65 Miles an hour on the highway in Montreal on the left lane.... some accord driving on the right lane lost a metal piece...and among the dozens of cars on three lanes... it had to land on my hood at an incredible speed.

PS: I just got defected transmission replaced by infiniti 2 weeks ago... so go figure... I think I'm just bad luck with new cars!

Any ideas how much would a new painted 2007 hood go for? I dont want to declare with insurence because I already did 2 claims with my old car for these type of bad luck happenings.

OUCH! That is NASTY! Didn't hit the windshield? Lucky!

What the hell was it? The muffler?

Glad you're OK - and good luck with the repairs.

Actually it did touch the windshield at the very top... but no damage. I'm just lucky it didn't touch anything else.... especially the windshield.... IT was going right into me.

I thought accident like this do not effect your premium and you need to pay no deductible

It's nobodys fault.

At least that's how it is with my policy

What insurance do you have? I've never heard of no deductible at all no matter the fault...I need to change to yours!

American Family insurance

This falls into a "mother Nature" category.

What could you do to prevent it? NOTHING

Why shall you pay the deductible?

So such things as DEAR, Crap on the roads, parking lot incidents (if other person takes off and does not live any info) and all other **** that mother nature throws at you are covered under this category.
