My standard answer...high flow cats and a UTEC. You'll get a nice bump in low to mid range torque, which is what the G is lacking stock.

There's that old saying: Speed, reliability, or low price - you can only have 2 out of the 3 at any given time.

If you are concerned about the "cheapest method" to add performance, my advice is to leave your car stock. From messing w/ all of my previous cars, it is always a pricey proposition to try to improve performance in any meaningful way, especially with reliability.

stickers and vinyl decals add a good amount of hp, but they might void the warranty .
go with the cold air kit.
NOS= void warranty

is there a software upgrade which will boost HP?
My friend has A4 and he upgraded or other words altered some software
to get about 10 ~ 20% boost in HP.

from increased boost on the stock turbocharger.

N/A horsepower is hard to get on low displacement/high reving motors like these. Especially when they've been given some decent tricks from the factory like dual intakes and true tube headers and dual exhaust.

If you want more hp numbers for your buck I wouldn't waste time on a CAI, wait for a factory forced induction option and spend that $300-$400 towards that.

Too bad Infiniti wised up and raised and flattened the top of the plenum otherwise a plenum spacer would be the way to go... Speaking of which, can't wait to pick mine up from AAM Saturday!

It won't gain HP, but it'll make you faster.

Best of all, it doesn't void warranty and it's FREE.

What's the secret? Weight reduction! Rip out your interior.

Other than that..... leave it stock. This isn't a good/cheap car to modify.

I don't know all that much about turbos, but I always thought you couldn't use much boost on an engine with higher compression ratio pistons. True?
