G35S vs. SUV

I could have taken them on the track. In demolition derby, not so much.

7:30 AM.

I'm in stop-n-go traffic. It's raining.

I am stopped.

Traffic starts moving

I go.

The dude behind me in the Mitsubishi Outlander goes.

Traffic stops.

I stop.

The dude behind me in the Mitsubishi Outlander keeps going.

He drove right up on my trunk basically. The last rear-ending was an Accord, bumper 2 bumper. This was bumper to trunk. Good thing I didn't get rear ended by something full-size. He didn't speak English so it was hard getting information out of him but I got enough for my insurance company (Nationwide) to track him and his tiny little insurance company down.

It's in the shop right now, looking at 2 weeks to get everything fixed. My headrest isn't right either, asked them to take a look at it. You push you head against the headrest and you can feel the metal brackets poke you in the back. I'm pretty sure it wasn't like that before. I also am getting a new tire out of it b/c the "shrapnel" which cut the inside of the tire.

Estimate is over $6000 so far.

The 1/4 panels will need some touching up but luckily there is no major damage.

I am so nervous everytime I come to a stop because of this. Seems like 2-3 times a week i have to give it gas after stopping to avoid being rear ended(already been rear ended once, no damage luckily)
