Changing phone ringer

In the owners manual for my '07, one of the things it shows for phone setup, is changing the ringer, but I cannot find that anywhere, is the owners manual incorrect, or am I incorrect?

I've said this before about XM NavTraffic - check the XM website to see if it's supported in your area. If you live in certain areas of the US, coverage is better than others, and in some areas you get no coverage.

It's supposed to be expanding though, so we'll see how it goes!

ABQ_G35,

To answer your question, there is the option to select a different ringtone, but apparently this is only available in the G35 WITHOUT the Navigation System. Personally, I think this stinks, but then those of us with the Navi don't have the Memo Pad function either.

The instructions start on Page 230 of the Owner's Manual - "Models without Navigation System". The "Select Ringtone" instructions are on page 239, and a screen shot of the "Phone Setup" screen illustrating the 'Select Ringtone Option" is on page 238.

Hope this clears up the mystery.

Regards,
