question to those of you without prem package

I was playing around the the balance in the car. I just have the base stereo system, and noticed the front speakers sound great but the rears are really crappy..

Is this normal for the G without the premium package?

Mine sound find IMO.... Maybe you have it faded more to the front? Or maybe blown rear speakers.

He's right. The rear does sound bad. The fronts are not exactly to my liking either. Too muddy sounding.

lol..oh--I just reread it and saw that he has the "base" system and not the "bose" system... oops--can't help you then. I have the Bose system and it sounds fine. The base system in the loaners I've had did sound a little flat. Can't tell about difference between front/rear though, since I didn't pay much attention to that....

I was lying down in the car one day and was messing around with balance/fade. The rear speakers sounded a bit weak. or weaker than the fronts so maybe that's why.

I want to listen to music in the back seat but I don't wanna leave the driver's seat.

the fronts are supposed to be louder/more powered than the front. A lot of people that upgrade their systems, like to make the rears louder for some reason

So it sounds like this is normal... Overall the system sounds fine, maybe i'll just upgrade the rear speakers for a little more clarity

Does anyone have any recomendations?

Also what size and ohm are used in the rear?

Thanks!

Front speakers are louder and have more bass on purpose.

Honestly, I think the base stereo sounds great for a base stereo. Especially when I added a 10" sub in the trunk. I don't miss the Bose.

I think the base system sounds good. I was actually surprised when I heard it. I had an 07 FX for a loaner and that thing was fully loaded and I can honestly say the bose did not sound as good as my base system. I dont know if Infiniti uses the same bose speakers for both cars though so it might not be a good comparison.

The Bose SOW in the G35 is not the same as the FX.
