Eff that, what does the dealer have with all the other options that you want, excluding color?

Unlike most everyone else, color was the last thing I was going to hassle since it doesn't affect the car's price, capabilities, nor how I operate it. My only requirements were 6spd with premium and no nav. Turns out my local dealer only had one that fit that description and it happened to be ivory pearl, I didn't think twice, and I couldn't be happier.

The only way I could see the color of the paint making a difference is if I happen to drive by some psycho who's thinking to himself "man, I'm gonna f*ck up the next guy I see in a white Infiniti"... then I might be in trouble and wish I'd gone for obsidian.

also, would i pay a premium (full msrp) if i have my dealer order my favorite color combo? i'm guessing buying off the lot is the best deal, which i'd prefer.

anyway, how important was color to you when purchasing your g?
Color combo and options were very important to me. I want an IP/Graphite with Nav/Prem/Tech and Wing. I purchased late in the model year so finding the right car was tough. I drove 700 miles round trip to find the car I wanted and used VPP. INHO it was worth it!!

I got the color combination and packages I wanted, at the price I wanted to pay. It's your money, why shouldn't you get exactly what you want with it ?

The selection of 2008 sedan 6MT w/ only premium package is very limited. Did you get yours at Austin Infinit? How close did you get to invoice? Thanks.

IF you must settle on a color, be sure it's Blue Slate, otherwise keep looking or special order

Blue slate is gorgeous. I am interested in a 6MT sedan. As far as a sports car goes, I still prefer black or ... especially red. But apparently there are not many garnet red available.

Right, the selection of 2003.5 sedan 6MT w/ only premium package was very limited too... there was only one on the lot out of about 80 sedans (yes, Austin Infiniti). Sorry I didn't specify that my car is 4 years old now.
