OK a couple of people in here obviously haven't experienced what the original poster is talking about. If the car is wet from a rain, or even from a car wash, and you open the trunk, water is channeled into a spot that basically makes it pour directly into the trunk. This is not a minor thing...it's a good deal of water, even when the rain has ended an hour ago. Seems to me it'd be nice to have some sort of tabs pop out when you open the trunk so that the water is channeled away.

Anyway, those of you giving the original poster a hard time, go spray down your tail and open the trunk completely...you'll see what we're complaining about. It is a poor design.

Love my 08' but the one feature I am not really digging is the trunk. Not so much the water issue, but more from a space issue. IMHO the darn CD changer should be in a different spot. I can barely get anything in there. Oh well.. If that is all I complain about, I am in good shape I suppose. LOL

Actually, I really miss snow...

I'm planning to visit my parents for Christmas and hoping that it snows while I'm there.

Grand Canyon on a snowy day is just... not describable with words... xD

That happens to me all the time. It's REALLY annoying and is definitely a design flaw.

Okay, if you can find a car that doesn't do this, good luck. Every car I've ever owned has had water/snow go into the trunk when you open the lid, there is plenty of channel there, best thing to do is open it slowly.

Haven't experienced the rain thing we don't get alot here. Can't imagine not having snow in the winter. The hot summers are nice but I like my four seasons. These are just cars and they look good buried in snow, and the x is right at home in it. Never use the stacker in the trunck either. I play a cd once and record it to the HD. Always been able to fit whatever I need in the trunk......I guess I do plan ahead if it's a bigger item I take the truck.

There's another thread regarding removal of the trunk changer. I yanked mine out a month or two ago and am very happy with the increase in space. I posted up some pictures of the open space, and now am just trying to figure out what to do with the old changer, and what I can attach to the open connection.
