Reflections on my '07 Sport after a month

Wow...........I love this car, it's so much more refined than either of my past G's, the entire car seems to be tighter than my '05 or '04. And the Black OB/Graphite, I am so glad that color caught my eye, LOL, even though black isn't really a color. It sure looks classy, especially at night after a wash! And the Sport Package and Nav sure enhance the experience of this great car! The interior is a lot more luxo feeling now, and the car also seems to be a lot quieter. I think Infiniti has arrived with the two latest G's!

Out.............

What did you have before that you're comparing this car to?

Glad you like it man! Sometimes I question myself why I got the Z instead, but for now I am having fun with that HR!

I've had my G for about 3 weeks now, unfortunately still in the break-in period.

I'm really amazed at how smooth the power delivery and transmission is. While I haven't been able to fully experience the power, I can already tell it has more umph than my '06 G35c.

I only have two negative points:

1. I wish it didn't have was all of the road noise. The car is quiet until you hit some of the grooved concrete on the freeway or a rough patch of road and it seems like it is really loud in the cabin.

2. I wish there was a quicker way of scrolling through artists. It would be great if a keyboard came up and you could start typing to search for artists, rather than scrolling through them.

Just at 850 right now Wayne! And man, does the Black Obsidian look great under the lights of a parking lot at night! I've always wanted a black car since I saw a new black '72 Mach1 on the lot, but was always hesitant, glad I didn't hesitate this time! (you should have seen that Mach1, with the reflective silver stripes)

Wait till you get your Sweetheart broken in , they run so well. You are so right about Black being an awesome colour, I would love Black, but it's just too much maintenance for me to look after since I don't keep the car in a garage. My truck is Black and it never seems to stay clean .

Ha, nothing stays clean out here when you try to keep your car looking good, even that silver G would look brown in short order Wayne! But, you know, this BO isn't any worse than my Cabernet Red F150 I had, or really going back, my Royal Maroon '68 Mustang, LOL, I had that car in college, and probably washed it two or three times a week weather permitting. But man, after a wash, it looked outstanding as does this car!

I've had my 07 G, OB, for almost a year with 22k miles. ( I drive alot). Its tough to keep clean and my car seems to be an idoit magnet. I have like 6-7 dings, scratches, etc.. from people who don't know how to open a door and get into a car without hitting my baby.

Wow, 22k in less than a year, you drive like I used to! Been a long time since I racked up that kind of mileage in a year, my '05 I just traded had 22k after over 2 years!

Well, I've got an idiot that LIVES with me in the same house that ding'd my door and not admitting the fault (I KNOW THIS FOR FACT). He's my roommate, but he is the biggest ******* I've ever known. He pisses everywhere like a freaking dog and does things that a human being really should not be doing (I won't discuss this here).

I can't imaging how pissed you are with all the dings and the scratches... I am even pissed with only one ding. Well, I really do feel so sorry for your car.

Do you use the page down button on the LCD display? At least doing this lets you skip 5 artists at a time instead of individually. I have found that the page down button is pretty responsive and I can scroll down 100 names pretty quickly. Though, if my favorite artist was ZZTop, I'd get tired of doing the scrolling every time.
