If I had a choice, I would baby and pamper my ride and put no more than 12k a year. My last car, a 2001 BMW 740i, I put down 100k miles in 4 years before I traded it in for my current G. My wife said I could buy a 3rd car for commuting and I saw a great deal for a 1990 Miata (32mpg) for $2000 bucks but I'm afraid I'll lose my membership here if I'm caught in a 1990 miata, LOL.

I hear you on that, no problem on having something to take the abuse. My big concern is parking lots. For most of my errands I travel around in my truck, but whenever I have some highway cruising to do, it's G time .
