Question Sensors Problem!

Hi All,

Right after I bought my 2007 G35 at the beginning of the year, the sensor alarms started to behave strangely. I would be driving slowly without having any vehicles or obstacles around me, and the alarm would go on suddenly. I would stop and look around without seeing anything near the car!

It kept doing that for a while until I took it to the dealer and he claimed that the sensors had some dust in them, and they cleaned it and everything went back to normal.

Now, after 10 months, it has started again!

Is it really a dust issue? Why doesn't it happen to my other car?

Any advice?

I believe proximity sensors are offered on G35's in the Middle East.

I think those would be cool...I just wish they could hide them better in the bumpers because I think it loses some of the cleaness with them.

OP...sorry for jacking, I hope you get your answers. I know there are a few G from the middle east on here...

maybe it is a dust issue, it's really sandy in some roads in the UAE, and seeing that you're a Dubai citizen i'm sure you do know how dusty it is on the Emirates Road.
My sensors work perfectly, haven't had any problems what so ever.
