Like someone else on here said...it's not infiniti--it's the standard symbol for low tire pressure on all cars....

This is because 36-38 warm >> 36-38 cold ; 36-38 warm (depending on how warm) can easily be over 40 cold
You got this backwards. As air is heated it expands. So 35 warm would be like 31-33 cold. As air cools it contracts. Thats why in the winter cars preform a little better, cause the air is more dense. More air=more fuel=more POWAHH.

Full size spares (eg. 17" sedan) have sensors, donut spares don't.

So it's been a little over a week, and I just got the light. The same tire needs air again. Is it possible it might have a nail or something stuck to the tire?

Yes. Of all the ways for a tire to lose air, that's the most likely.

This forum has convinced me that for all the cars Infiniti has sold, they only produced about 6 owners manuals. I'm just happy I'm one of the lucky few to not only get one, but actually locate it within the car.

My TPMS warning indicator was on for a few days last week due to the cold weather, unfortunately I couldn't find anywhere with a air compressor strong enough to increase the pressure from about 29psi back to 33psi in the weather either. It warmed back up to about 2C yesterday and the TPMS warning is gone.

Go by the pressure listed on your door. The value on the sidewall is the maximum, NOT the recommended. Once the tires heat up, the pressure goes up, so if you filled it to the maximum when cold, it would go over once in use.

The only caveats I have found is that many tire pressure gauges appear to be garbage. I have had 2 in my posession that read 5lbs different. Also, those built into pumps are even worse.

The other one is if you have changed your wheels or tires to non standard sizes. At that point, you have to do more research to find the correct pressure. Still keep it below the tire's maximum, but the wheel may have a maximum pressure too.

Those are generally very inaccurate. Maybe the specific one you use isn't...
