Still worth it to buy a 2007 6MT?
[QUOTE=bigern79]Hi everyone. First let me say that I have been researching relentlessly for 3 months now, and I can't wait any longer to get my G35. I read these forums almost every night, and you guys are awesome.
Hi Everyone and bigern79 - Got my 6mt in April 07. I came from a 2002 WRX w/many mods, I think it was quicker than the G (at least off the line) but I have zero regrets. Don't care about a little vibration in the shifter, don't care that the clutch is tighter than the WRX (it kind of reminds me of my long departed 85 Mustang GT). All that published talk of "Harmonic vibration thru the shifter", "clutch is too unforgiving," "steering feel is not what I am used to" is BS written by persons whose objectivity is suspect to me. You will obviously have to determine for yourself.

Well, no dice guys. I went to the dealer and tried to work some sort of deal. Unfortunately they just won't budge - they weren't even willing to offer the invoice price and claim they have never sold a car at or below invoice. Whatever. I'm done wasting my time there. Luckily I've got a lead on a used 07 Sport with only 5k miles on it, so maybe I can score my deal that way.
