Smile new found feature

Before I get flames regarding - read your manual- I stumbled on a new feature that the nav has that I havent found before.. While driving I hit INFO and WHERE AM I and it told me the street I was on as well as the one I just passed and the next one. This would have come in handy many times I was simply looking for a street not named on the map screen while driving. I may not be new to you but it was to me.

I am always learning!

You can also touch a street on the screen if it is not labled and it will tell you the name or # also.

Yup. I stumbled on that one too. Nice feature.

I admit I haven't gotten 'round to reading the Nav manual. One of these days.....

That was one of the first things I found, by accident of course, I still can't for the life of me figure out the XM NavTraffic. And yes, according to XM, Albuquerque is on the list.

Not enough traffic to trigger a response?

We have more than enough traffic, it's gotten bad here in recent years. But, they have it listed as "incident enabled" whatever that means, has roads I travel on the map, but nothing. XM swears it is up and running here, and I do get a signal, the "traffic" is green on the monitor, so there is a signal coming from XM, maybe nothing from here! You'd think we'd have good signals with all the government labs here.

I had the same problem.
I live in the Fort Myers/Naples area.
The green indicator was on, but I-75 never showed the Navtraffic green arrow symbols on the screen.
XM shows this area as part of the NavTraffic coverage on their website.
I called XM and they said that there are several areas that they are expanding their infrastructure.
Its bull****.
Like Albuquerque, the Fort Myers/Naples area is clearly called out as a coverage area on their marketing literature and website, yet the service does not work in these areas.
Clear misrepresentation.

As a result, I never renewed my service.

I have owned our G for over a year. I have read the manual, and I still discover new things with the car regularly.
