I just bought an 08 Prem/Nav, sticker arounf $39.5. As I had a trade it's hard to be accurate but consider the Audi dealer offered me $18.5 for my trade, at Infiniti I got them to $26.5 and even kept my Techart alloys to sell privately. Wrote a check for $13.5 including sales tax and everything. I'm stoked, I think it was a great deal, I'd have looked for $30k for my car ont he private market with the alloys.
Depending how you look at the trade I'd say I paid abotu $32k out of the door for my 08 Prem/Nav. It was half an hour after closing on the last day of the year though, Happy New Year!

I paid $34,600 OTD for 2008 G35 Journey with Premium, cargo net and splash guards here in Florida. That works out to -84 under invoice including all dealer fees, plus tax, title and license. Most dealers wanted $450 to $1100 more. Waiting until the last day of the sales year and sending out faxes with firm out the door offers did the trick. At first, the dealer who I bought from called and said the best they could do was $800 more. Then I explained that several dealers within a 2 hour drive were lower than their price and it would be easier to buy from them, especially with a lower price and shorter drive. Immediately, the internet salesman said, "Hang on a minute," came back to the phone and said "You've got yourself a deal." Getting the 2.9 financing sweetened the pot.
I've heard that if they know you are from out of town, they know you are serious and that's worked twice for me, once on a Camry for my wife, and once on the new G35. The winning dealer was a 5 hour drive from home.
Best advice is to be patient, make an offer by fax with an out the door price to the fleet manager or general manager ,along with a cover letter, and a completed spreadsheet that's available free from carbuyingtips.com. Make the offer on a specific vehicle with VIN number in their inventory that you can search online. It also helps to wait until the very end of the month. Every dealer wants to juice their sales numbers and will move cars, especially with a no hassle quick sale when they are busy trying for last minute sales at the end of the month.

Those are some good deals. Should lend a helping hand to those who are buying used since these savings will batter the value of used cars.
