I'm debating on going 5LED vs. 1LED for the door panels. Yours look very bright for 1LED, as someone's in that other post had 5 and it looked identical. I dont want it to be too dim.

i guess i left out that i only bought 6 bulbs. i stole some 1led bulbs from the car i had before my G and put them in the licence plate lights. my main concern wasnt the door lights, but more on the map lights, i wanted the map lights to be as bright as the OEM bulbs, and with the 12led bulbs is just what i needed. being so, i think the 1led bulbs were bright enough for me and i would think 5led bulbs would be too bright, but that my 2cents.

Have done exactly what Lucky did, and can't wait for night time!!! However... only one thing that they or my car does NOT do... fade out!! after 15 secs they just shut off,, they do NOT fade out like the stock bubls.... this is of course when you shut the door. Or maybe its 30 seconds, what ever my car came from the factory with, and yes i have not changed my fadeout time.

Question on or off?

NIce job, luckyone, following your lead i did something similar by adding 6LED in the back and it looks great, now my question is that when the car is completely Turned OFF and lights are off, the back leds and the door panel leds are still running but VERY VERY light , seems like a glow but they are actually on(checked), while the map lights shut off compelety, is this normal?

hey nice set up.. i just pretty much did the same set up.. but ran with 1 led on the door panels and rear seats.. i had a problem with the license plate lights.. i tried to fit the 12 leds but for some reason couldnt get it to fit.. was wondering if anyone else had that same problem. so in that case i ran with 9 leds instead.. still pretty bright.

Hi Luck One and Kool Yaar...I have the exact same set of lights as LUCK ONE's and I also have the same problem with the "small glow light" in the rear passengers' while the car is completely turned off and locked. I used the same 4LED for the rear passenger. I switched out with the 1LED to the passenger's but the small glow light is still there...Do you guys think this is okay with the car battery? I know it's just a very small amount of power..but just wanna make sure these blubs are okay to glow for like 24/7..

hey hkprince and Luckyone i have 6LED bulbs in my doors and passenger and i spent some time "experimenting" and we are ok, two things when you turn off the car and leave after about five minutes the car automatically cuts off ALL the power and glow goes away completeley, and if it bothers you while driving(that it doesnt AT ALL, beacuse its hardly visible) if you flip the switch to off it goes away, no battery draining problems at all, i was talking to my mechanic and he checked and said regardless of what light we leave on the cars "BCM" will turn it off to save the battery, so no worries.

All the lights should be off after a certain time as Kool Yaar said..like 5 mins..I checked mines last night and did couple experiments, all the glow / lights were off after a few mins of shutting off the car. And I checked this morning again while I drive to work, the rear passenger's lights are off..no glow So I wonder what kind of LED you used? I used the same 4LED type as LUCK ONE's and they are pretty bright and look very nice at night.

Have anyone of you also changed the headlight blubs to 6000K or 8000K?

Cool dont worry, just enjoy the change

For those who are still concerned(calibur) about why the "glow" occurs is because there is very minimal power going to those lights when they are not in use and its much too less for regular bulbs to light up on, but because LEDs use much less power they respond to this very light power and light up briskly, so dont worry about your car, if anything our leds MIGHT just go out a couple weeks faster than regular.
