My opinion, that CF trim looks like ****. I like the washi aluminum, keeps the interior clean and with a touch of Japanese (rice paper finish). If not that, there's the wood trim. To eash his own though, we can't tell you how to spend your money.
Don't get me wrong i'm sure it drives amazing. I really like my I35 and Infiniti's service (when you're still under full warranty). But if I'm going to be spending pretty much all of my time inside the car driving to work, gym, groceries and etc.. i want an appealing interior to look at. I absolutely love the TL interior and dash layout but they don't offer AWD. A4's offer AWD but they'll be redesigned next year (plus depreciation is with audi's) I'll probably end up with the G but i just want to research my options with the trim. I actually like the matte wood trim on the darker interiors than the washi.

I considered the TL also but since Acura will be releasing the 2009 revamp later this year I didn't want to have the "old" model only a year later. The G is only into the second production year so I'll have the latest style for at least a few years.

Other things played in as well (reliability, drive experience etc). Once I drove the G I was sold.

I agree the wood trim is nice, but on my dark interior I thought it was too dark. I thought it looked better on the tan/lighter interior.
