A question about maintenance (oil changes)
A question about maintenance (oil changes)
Hey guys, new to this forum here...
Congrats to everyone here rockin' such a great car, the G is awesome.
I have a question...
I want to know what people pay for oil changes for this car at Infiniti(i have an 08 g35X). I'm asking because there are so called "maintenance packages" that start from $65CAD in my area (Toronto) that involve the dealer doing a bunch of useless inspections that I do myself, and I was just wondering if there's a way they would just change oil without the extra "package" inspections. It's not a lot of money really but I hate to pay double for an oil change that costs $30-40 at nissan.
Anyone have experience with this?
Thanks guys

Don't fall for the recommended maintenance packages.
It includes things like "Inspection of brake Fluid" and other little things you could easily be doing yourself. Most of the little items are like $5 each and add up super quick.
I walk in and ask for an oil change and that's what I get. My dealer charges something like $40 for an oil change, but I get my money back with the free wifi, cappicinos and bagels.

thanks for the info guys.
an oil change ranging 40-50 bucks i have no problem with but i was under the impression that i'd be forced with one of their maintenance packages starting at $65. that i dont like
