It's still rebadging a car to something it isn't. BUT....

The reason why I don't think it's as ricey is that he isn't trying to make it sound like he bought a more expensive car (i.e. total poseur).

Anyone in the car world will see the Skyline badges and understand the reference. I'm not going to do it to my car, but I wouldn't make fun of someone who did. There are quite a few people who would make fun still though. It's just definitely, "not as bad" IMO.

Trying to make your 07-08 G35 look like an 09 G37 = poseur.

Jason,

Could I get a price for a full chrome rebadge kit for an 04 coupe to 11429? I also tried to PM you, but it isn't working... Thanks.

I don't like when you see a car and it says skyline and you open the door and seats and steering wheels say Infiniti.
I think if you go with skyline. Due a complete swap. Interior things too. Othervise it is half a job.

And we did not talk about steering wheel being on the right side.

hahahaha

Sorry, I do not mean to stray off topic, but do shifting paddle shifters (or DS mode) in automatics feel anything like the Sports? I am considering the kit on riverside's eBay.

Also, my dealer sold me g37 coupe all weather mats for my sedan. He said they are identical? Can anyone confirm this?

You might want to PM Rick or Tony, or even me, as Jason has moved on quite a while ago. That's why you can't PM him

With winter on its' way I'm going w/ an "X" badge, much cheaper than a set of blizzaks, and since it'll be all wheel drive now, should be safer
