Yeah,

That was me. It is working. I have no issue since. They did a good job. That was months ago and holds up good. Never heard any noise.

I think most of you know the story. Cut it short I tried everything with my service when I realized If I tap on the switch a bit to lower the window say1/16" the noise were gone. So I had the idea and told them maybe it goes too far up. So they adjusted not to go that far. Was better but not perfect and they adjusted it again and it was good.

If you open your door and try to roll the window up you see. It's bending the frame when it goes up. I think Infiniti learned from their misstake on the older model. (window motor problem). They made it so powerfull now it is bending the doorframe.

If you think that way. Why only the drivers door doing it? It should be same right both side identical. Why it doesn't do it on the other side? Because you using the driver side the most. Obviosly if you using the passanger side a lot too it will come up on it too eventually.

I take it all back Infiniti was wrong about this service bulletin #. They still have not found the fix yet. This service bulletin is for the noise while the window is rolling up or down. We will what they can do for me.

I have a loud screeching sound when rolling down or up my drivers side window - it only seems to happen when its raining though.

Is that what this TSB is?

I have an 08 and have not experienced these window noises. Seems to be limited to the 07. Maybe they worked this kink out in the 08 (one of the reasons I will not buy a car in the first year of production).

I thought this is just me. Yeah, only after a rain or when wet.

Do you have a tinted window?

That would do it.

I recently got my windows tinted and the sound was happening before that. Honestly, it's gotten better since I got them tinted. Who knows.

Then it maybe just the material they using for the weather strips. it maybe to hard and when it is wet Glass vs rubber. Just a guess. I know my friend had the same but it happened after tinting and just when it is raining.

I assume it is the compound of the weather strip.

Just so I'm clear - my understanding of your window issue was flow noise at speed, NOT the window screeching as it rolled up or down. Is that correct?

This is the issue I'm experiencing.

Thanks!

My problem is the hiss noise/wind noise while moving at speed above 50mph. The service bulletin is not going to fix my problem. I don't have screeching noise that will be fixed by the service bulletin. You can tell by now, that Infiniti people do not know their *** from their hole. They couldn't even tell me the right SB # after spending about 30 minutes with them on the phone. I will call them back ASAP and see what they are going to say. I am not done with them yet.
