I actuall drove it quite a bit before I bought. The gadgets and the acceleration sold me. I figured I would get used to the styling and the interior. But this was not the case. I've had it for about 2 months and barely drive it. I would rather crawl into my 1998 accord and take it to work. At least the transmission would be smoother......

Really, this car was just a stepping stone on my way to a CPO'd E60 M5. But I just can't see me driving it for 3 years while I save up.

I have only have had the car a month
and still thrilled
The MPG I hope will get a bit better as I do some highwy driving but its a bit of a shock ( my last car was a Honda Civiv and a Mazda 323 before that so never had a V 6 and a little unprepared though I did all my research) . But I work at home so I dont have to commute much so in dollars and cents the extra expense wont kill me

Every place but Consumer Reports seems to see the TL and BMW as better but I was impressed but not excited by the TL ( though I wonder if it gets a bit better mileage- less horse power ) and I didnt want to spend 40 K for a BMW with all the goodies I could get with the G at much less price

So the only remorse is sometimes when I see a TL but I still like the design and styling of the G way better.

And to the guy who has the big breasted woman showing her cleavage
- please remember this is a car site , not a nudie sight. I am not a prude but not everyone here wants to see big boobies when they get their car talk.

Are you serious? Girls and cars go hand and hand like peanut butter and jelly. You can't have one without the other.

Wow, someone please tell me he's not for real?!?!?

I have absolutely no regrets buying the G35S & the G37S. I love both cars!

Also, I'm not the type to ever have Buyer's Remorse, never have had it on anything I've purchased, usually because I take a long time to decide on big item purchases.

My friend has a TL, and she tried to convince me to get one. I didn't even get as far as test driving one. They are supposed to be coming out with a new body style for 2009.... I would be mad if I had gotten an '08 and the body style changed the next year.

The back of the TL looks nice, like a bimmer. But, the front looks like a Honda Accord.

I was having regrets getting the navigation system. But, today, it got me to my destination with no problem. Maybe the problem I had when I first used it was human error.

Ditto here! I had the opportunity to drive an '07 for a week last summer while they were fixing the tilt on my '05, so I knew I wanted one, and still do! I too look long and hard at things before I buy, well, with the exception of my house, decided on this place in just one day, and no remorse here either!

No regrets!

The only time I ever had buyers' remorse was my 2005 Lexus ES330. I don't know what got into me but I hated that car 30 days after I got it and drove it for 2 years before I traded it in for my Journey sedan. I love everything about the G especially the way it makes me feel.

I have no sympathy for those that are complaining and are shocked by the gas mileage or have to "turn your head" at the pump. The two biggest/boldest numbers on the window sticker represent the autombiles labratory tested MPG. And everyone knows these are always a few MPG generous. How did you miss this in your research of the car???

And how could you begin to compare the gas mileage of a honda accord to the gas mileage of this beastly machine? Its like comparing the fuel efficiency of a 747 and a Fighter Jet.

More boobies for you SF guys...

at least those boobies are less in your face -so to speak

I think the shock for people is when you do your research and the reality isnt that close

Last night I took the G out on the highway and I was pleased the fuel economy was showing much better

Lately I have been doing all city driving since I got it so that has had negative impact

I wasnt looking for a Prius but to have it run closer to what the research told me to expect would be nice like 17 city 26 or so highway ( actually isnt the claim 19 city / 26 highway)

But I work at home and often drive only 4 miles a day so not that concerned!
