I am using a 4 GB compact flash full of music and I see that it’s reading only about 2.7 GB of music (about 75 folders from top). Does anyone know whether there is any size limitation for the compact flash drive?

The system will only read the first 512 files on the CF card.

 

There is a limit of how many songs you can put in. I think it was about 500 songs or so. I have a few 2GB CF cards, and they all work fine.

I do the same, I have two 2GB CF cards that I use. Another work around if you want to use large capacity CF cards is to have one album strung together as a single MP3. A few members are doing this. The only downside is that you can't skip to the next song on the album. I personally prefer having a couple of smaller CF cards.

I was about to buy 16 GB card . I guess 2GBs are perfect for this car.
