Am I the only one that purchased a new G35S and got some dorky blue metal tire pressure caps? Does everyone else have silver?

the blue caps indicate they are filled with Nitrogen......better than pink right?
I'm just curious as to why they are blue if everyone else got silver. My co-worker has the identical car with silver. Just curious.

Mine were green, denoting nitrogen filled. I'm not usually a fan of random stuff like different valve caps, but actually like these - they're a green metal. Sort of like the red valve caps on my silver race bike Originally Posted by baileyt35

Amusingly, a local dealer tried to blame the caps for the failure of my TPMS. Told them I'd like to understand more about their reasoning for this
, and they dropped it.Quote:
Not from my perspective - less pressure loss over time is largely meaningless if you check your tires from time-to-time, and less heating / pressure change is a) related to lack of moisture in the gas and b) not much of an issue if you're not racing. I got it free, but have since changed tires and went with the Nitrogen / Oxygen mix...Originally Posted by BlkG35Sport
so any advantages having Nitrogen? I guess that means you can't mixed it...
