Escutcheon & locking issues etc

I was just wondering about a few things:

Does the car remote continually use up the battery to emit a signal thus enabling the car to regconize it on u when u press the door handle button to open the door?

So if my remote is out of battery I would not be able to press the door handle button and open the door? Which means I need to pry off the lock cover to use my manual key?

Thanks

Yes, the RFID continuosly uses power ... very little though.

No, the push button will not work .. you use the key in the keyhole on the drivers side.

sure it's not a 2032? Or is the 2032 the same as a 2025?
