Leather Seats

Does anyone know specifically what is leather and what is vinyl in an 08 G35 Sedan seat? I am having a hard time determining.

Also, besides the steering wheel, what else is leather? It looks like the shifter boot is, but again I am not sure.

It is hard to tell with this car, but I believe the seating surfaces as well as the sides of the seats are leather, you can usually tell leather by how it reacts to pressure, if it "creases" when you push it, it's leather, vinyl just "moves". Does that make sense? Infiniti did a good job of making it hard to distinguish between leather and vinyl IMO. I think the back panels on the seats are vinyl (facing the rear seat) The shift boot also appears to be leather to me.

Thanks for the quick response. I agree about it being hard to distinguish. I will inspect it more closely and see what I can determine.

It is far easier to tell on American cars.
