Would you accept this leather defect?
i don't think it's a normal problem when it looks like that. that's not just a crease from our butts pressing on the leather and weathering. that is a manufacturer's defect and that shouldn't have made it to the dealership like that. that shows a very poor understanding of product inspection. that is unacceptable and you shouldn't "live" with it. ur not paying the price of a ferrari but i'll guarantee that would be unacceptable in a brand new kia spectra. ask for a different leg extension please.
I don't think it is a defect, just normal factory crease. Too bad it is at an obvious spot. You should test drive it too.

Looks like a pucker near the stitching of the center panel.
It would bug most folks but I doubt it will get a replacement seat from the dealer, maybe a stretch and stitch from a local upholstery shop...THAT might open a can of worms if they don't put the cover back on properly.
It is easy for us to say... but try and get used to it. By the way, my G35x has been loved and looked after, is pristine after nine months, with only 3,000 miles and it has a couple of creases on the driver's seat.
That's the nature of leather, I guess

IMO there is no reason to settle for it without a substantial discount. Its not that big of a deal, but when you are dropping 41k on a new car it should be 100% perfect. On used cars you might have to settle for little things here and there. But, if you can use this as a bargaining chip and get a great deal on the car then go for it.

I have seat covers on my leather and don't know if there is a crease.
I have black leather seats and I live in Arizona. I bought two sheepskin seat covers that cover all of the seat.
They were feel great.
Just another angle to
consider.

Thanks for all your replies. It's great to get everyone's point of view.
After reviewing photos of many other sport seats, this "fold" is obviously a factory defect. I've decided that I would not take delivery of the car unless the part was replaced. It is really too bad since finding a Desert Platinum with nav/sport/premium/tech and rear spoiler is pretty hard.
