HVAC annoyance
HVAC annoyance
It seems as if no matter what temperature I have the controls set to, whenever I change the air flow to the cabin from fresh to recirculate, the AC turns on.
Is there a way to stop the AC from turning on when hitting recirculate?

yeah i hate it that i have to press the AC button every time too...and it never remembers what vents are opened and which are closed. i kinda understand why the ecu is doing this, but at the same time i would definitely like to control my own cabin.
i think most people have their own "personal" settings for AC/heaters also. maybe infiniti should rethink their logic for our HVAC system. I would like all vents blowing every time I turn it on, but that's just me.

Its more of an annoyance than anything. I leave my fan on the lowest setting at 60 degrees 90% of the time (except for when its freezing outside). When I am following something which is spewing out dirty exhaust fumes, I change my setting to recirculate and boom I get this blast of cold air
I like the service advisor's explanation to everything.... "its by design"
