"Not very good"

The lip adds about 1.5 to 2" to the Sport bumper. I'd say if your car is already dropped, you'll be scraping all over the place.

i thought the lip would start at the line in the front bumper. not the actual bottom of the bumper. so i figured it wouldn't add to much more to the front. maybe a half inch.

I think the Nismo lip starts at the bottom, but you can see where the Impul lip starts... and it keeps going even past the end of the bumper.

I'll see if I can get a better pic of it from the inside to see where the sport bumper ends compared to the lip.

And yeah the car is still dirty. Cry me a river.
I am really liking that lip. That pic shows it off very well.

The only worries is that it's a huge pain in the ***. There are a ton of bolts and screws but otherwise there are no ftment issues or anything of the sort.

The biggest deal is ICC though. Remember there are two kinds of bumper per style, with and without ICC so you gotta make sure they order the correct one. You also have to reuse the grille and a rubber gasket thing that goes on top at the seam in the engine bay. They have to either get a new one or remove the old one from your bumper and use double sided tape to secure it to the new bumper.

Other than that, there are no worries.
Okay, the G is still in the shop. I asked them to replace my stock front bumper with the Sport Model and they ordered it... being sure to get the model with the ICC cutout.
The bumper came in and they painted it Slate Blue.
Then... they called me.
They are claiming that the ICC unit is located in a slightly different spot on the Sport Model and that my G35x ICC unit doesn't line up on the Sport Bumper. For liability reasons, they refused to make a custom bracket.
They offered me one of two choices.

1) Order a new X model bumper have it painted and installed.
2) Order a ICC unit for the Sport Model at a cost of $1250

I'm stuck with the X bumper and maybe I'll get a Nismo lip down the road to dress it up. Snowball's chance in hell that I'm paying $1250 for an ICC unit that ain't broken, just to have the Sport bumper!!!

Does your G have the Tech package?
I'm assuming that with the level of ease you had, it doesn't?

I explained to the shop that I've spoken to people who have replaced the base bumper with a sport bumper and they insist it was a non-ICC model.

Thoughts?

***EDIT***
I just went back and looked at your pics... non-tech.
For anyone else considering the swap from non-sport to sport bumpers... it doesn't work if you have the tech package.
At least not without some custom bracket work, which the dealer refuses to do.

Kenstyle front lip FTMFW. Much more clean than the Impul front end which IMO is a bit overdone.

Wait, so you're saying that the ICC sensor on the X is on a different spot than on the Sport?

I don't have the Tech Package and now I'm double glad I didnt get it. Did you see this yourself? I really never knew there was a difference in mounting locations. It almost doesn't make sense either... Under the skin I thought the cars were identical.

Yup, that's what I'm saying.
The Sport model places the ICC unit a little more toward the center of the car.
I compared the 2 models at the dealer a week prior to dropping it off and they looked to be very close, but I didn't have a tape measure to be sure.
Asking the service guys, they all thought it was in the same place as well.
When I dropped the car off for repair, the guy ordering my parts said they weren't gonna line up, but his argument was that the hole in the bumper was for foglights, and not for the ICC sensor.
He proved to me that he knew nothing about the 07 G and I insisted they would swap easily.
He said he'd order the Sport bumper but if it didn't fit, I'd be charged for the lost time trying to swap bumpers.

This is a lesson learned, and it stinks!
I'm now out of the G for another week, responsible for the labor time for the past week and I'm stuck in the POS rental.
It's a Dodge Charger SE... what a complete piece of crap.
Adding the fact that it stinks like an ashtray doesn't help either.

If both cars are non-tech, the swap is easy.
Once the ICC unit is added in, the bumpers are no longer swapable.
