Value of vehicle???

Not that I am selling at this moment, but what do you think an 07 G35X with 26xxx miles, Black exterior/tan leather interior, tech, Nav, wood, splash guards...would be worth on a trade or private sell. I am in CT.

Thanks,

Jeff

IMO i would estimate around 23000-24000 trade in and about 26000 for private party. Im seeing on all forums that people are have very difficult times selling their car so might be alot less than what i posted.

Thats quite some high mileage for an 07 X. Id say around 30K.

I would think that is being optimistic 30K, people will buy new with 26K miles on it.

I would say about 8 K less than what you paid, since you are taking a double hit on this,

1. New Car Depreciation
2. HIGH miles

GL

Try not sell it, it is an amazing car.

At 30k, people would rather just spend a little bit more and get a new 2008 sedan.

You probably won't get serious offers unless if asking price is below 28,000.

That is too bad that you are selling it. Why are you looking to get rid of it and what are you going to get to replace it?

Find a friend who has a Galves book. That is probably going to give you the best idea. KBB is very very inflated.

I am not going to sell, because I would take a bath. I really do like the car, but I find it just not as fun as some of my previous cars. I really miss manual tranny. I would love a 6 speed X. I know the 08 is going to have a sport with paddles, but just not the same. This is an amazing vehicle for the value. I have high miles because I have a 65-75 mile commute, and I did a 6000 mile roadtrip last summer from CT to several National parks out west. Hit southern CO through to grand canyon and then up through Utah to Jackson WY, yellowstone, South dakota and back to CT.

at a dealer that car would get sold for 30-31k in ny/nj/ct. i did a lot of shopping around for used g35x's and thats the going rate for your options. i paid 28k for my blk/blk with sunroof as my only option with 19k miles on it. some people would opt to pay a little more for a new one, but i calculated it out and my payments would have been about 100 more a month for new. it wasnt worth it to me to pay that much extra for new when ill put that many miles on the car in 6 or 7 months anyway.

I just traded in my '06 sedan 2 weeks ago with 43000 miles. Leased a '08 sedan. Every source I looked at, the Infiniti Dealer where I bought the old 1 and new 1, Galves Book, Kelly Blue book gave as a high trade in value of only 19000! Resale was as high as 24000, BTW thats what the dealer has it listed for.

Good Luck
