I'm guessing the biggest factor is gas?

They could be running 100 octane as premium. Hell, 100 octane could even be regular and 110 unleaded could be their premium even though 110 is pretty much useless... lol

When I had my Maxima I remember people getting the Middle Eastern Variable Intake which gave them more horsepower. I think it had to do with less restrictions.
