The higher horsepower from the G37 is offset by its heavier weight. If a G37 Sedan is infact on schedule for 2009, I am almost positive the big brakes and 19s will transfer over from the G37 Coupe. If this happens, Im willing to bet both the sedan and the coupe will be virtually identical in performance due to the increase of weight in the 2009 Sedan from the cast 19's and the big brakes.
Oh I fully believe the 07+ sedan's are faster, I drive one.....I was laughing at the word "misremembering."

lol ok, just making sure. We have quite a few coupe fanboys on this site, who swear their inferior VQ35DE's are better perfoming than the obviously superior VQ35HR. I cant wait to see the performance numbers for the already confirmed 370Z. Shorter in length, wider in track, lesser in weight, with a VQ37VHR thrown in there..... The new Z is gonna be a monster!

A/C Seats ( Doubtful, since its an M feature)
LED Signals (Doubtful)
New style Forged 19's for the 6MT and Sport Package
Akebono BBK for the 6MT and Sport Package (Found on the G37 Coupe)
Keep the weight the same ( Highly doubtful, especially if above features are added)

I'll take one of those! Nissan will do something to try to torpedo the new TL that will be coming out fall of '08 with more power, SH-AWD, and who knows what else. And we can't forget Audi will have their new A4 out then as well...

I am really hoping for more (and more refined) power, better tranny for improved hwy mpg (get that rpm down around 2K at 75mph) and some other nice tweaks...the ventilated seats would be very nice. Who knows...heck, maybe keep a base model and then go with a hi-po version a la tl-S. Guess time will tell.

I don't think there will be a change. This car has been out for only 2 years, so 2 more to go.

Didn't this car come out in 03? Then for the 05 model they did some changes that I considered significant enough to finally purchase the car. Then for the 07 they did a complete redesign? Doesn't that kind of indicate that we are due for some slight changes like in the 05 model with another redesign coming for the 2011 model?

Negative. Look at Infiniti's timeline of revisions. Every 2 years, they update. You have to stay with the times homeboy...

G35 Coupe 2003 - Spartan interior, Brembo brakes, only 18" cast wheels offered.
G35 Coupe 2005 - New revised interior, deletion of Brembo brakes (high replacement cost) , New 19" Forged wheels, Revised VQ35DE

Same goes for the sedan, sans Brembos

Then....

G35 Coupe 2006 - New sport bumper and sideskirts, new projector headlights, new taillights, new spoiler.

....

I can guarantee you, the 2009 Sedan will have a nice healthy amount of updates
