Slave cylinder done......not happy with results

Well, took my car in today for the slave cylinder recall and got it back in about 6 hrs. Everything is fine with the car except the clutch. This thing is so light now it reminds me of my 01 Maxima clutch!! The one thing I really liked about the car was the heavier clutch feel. Now that's gone and the car just doesn't feel right anymore. I am really dissapointed with the new feel.....it's just not right.

Well, stress your dissapointment to the dealership. Ask to drive other 6MT Sedans on the lot and have them drive them as well and explain to them your displeasure. They should be able to do something for you

I got mine done a few weeks back and almost made the exact same post! After the slave cylinder replacement, the clutch felt so light I almost turned around and took it back to the dealership to have the service guy drive it!

For the next few days, I drove it harder than usual to see if it was going to break (so far so good)! Now that I have some confidence in it, I really like the change.

My advice is to give it a week or 10 days, then see how you feel about it.
