Drifting in G35 with AT?

Is it possible to do drifting in G35 with automatic transmission? I may be wrong but I think manual transmission is required to do drifting...

Sure? I think it'd be easier. Just use the manual mode.

manual is easier for the simple reason you can clutch kick and downshift from say 4 to 2 in the flick of the wrist. but i think the future if are dual clutch transmissions as they are extremely fast. but it is possible to drift a AT g35. im talking from experience.

I've tried it in manual mode and it's quite difficult because of the open rear dif.

Honda Accord
I've also done it a few times and yes it's a bit hard becaus of the diff., but definitely doable.

And +1 on doing it on a WIDE OPEN space especially if it's your first time.

Perhaps in a Journey, but the Sport models don't have an open diff, they have VLSD. I've found that mine will oversteer just fine, although it would probably be easier to control with more HP.

yeah, auto drifting blows, haha

def need a clutch to initiate, for me at least, makes it 1 billion times easier

you can drift with an open diff, but that kinda blows too

if you want a manual trans and can't afford a g35s, why not just buy a different car?
