When I had my Maximas they always gave me loaners, especially since I lived out of town.

I've gone in for just an oil change and they said it might be 20-30 minutes and asked if I wanted a loaner...I think I've been in 3 07 G loaners and an FX. Never had to put gas in them!

you don't have to fill it up unless you drive a bunch. if you drove 50 miles or less, don't sweat it

I really think it's a huge waste of time. I requested for a loaner, but they refused to give me one saying that they don't have any available.

So the greeting guy took me to work which was 20 mins (one way) away from the dealer and when the service was done he came back to pick me up. Thus, the dealer just wasted 80 mins of that guy's work time just on the road.

I guess it's considerably cheaper to pay the greeting guy than providing a loaner? (Ironically, the guy gave me a ride on a loaner G. I thought it was doulbe the waste.)

Glendale Infiniti only gives loaners if the work is >2 hrs. They also charge you a $5 convenience fee.. I think that's what they called it... they used to provide free loaners or free rental car if they ran out of loaners but I guess that was getting too expensive...

my dealership, Sewell Infiniti in Dallas drove my car over 200 miles to me, and picked up my loaner (yes, i put almost 1,500 miles on the loaner) and they drove it back. also before delivery of my car to me at college, they topped off my tank so it was full when dropped off, and didn't charge me anything (i gave them the car on E). and it was a 07g35 sedan with premium and sport wheels, and the same color as mine, so no one even noticed really that i had a loaner. all at no cost to me. +Rep to Sewell!

Stories and comments like this make me laugh. How exactly is $5 making up for that other than being a nickle and dime pain in the ***? So giving you a loaner for free cost them too much money but $5 or $10 for that whole day, well now we're talking. What a joke, frankly this would **** me off more than not having a loaner at all.

only reason why i get serviced there is because of my work location :\

Loaner cars are... up to the dealer. Not all dealers supply them. At riverside, we give loaners to anyone who's getting more work than an oil change done. For just an oil change, it's pointless; by the time you get where you're going, your car is ready and it's time to come back.

That also depends on how busy you guys are with the schedule...

Sometimes it take a bit more than just an hour for the oil change....
