Quote: Correction: EVERYONE should have to take a driving exam at least every five years. Just got back from Europe (London and Athens), and while they're a little wild, everyone pays attention, lets others in, and generally actually drive their cars.
Couldn't agree more. From my personal experiences traveling to Europe, they are 10x the drivers that North Americans are. They are MUCH more attentive.

I completely agree... I just didn't wanna hijack the thread just to get on my soapbox again.

Truth is, once people get their license, they tend to forget everything they've learned.
Come to MA and sit at any rotary... you lose count of the morons who have no idea who has the right of way within seconds.
Look at any parking lot... nobody knows how to put their car between two stupid white lines.
And don't even get me started on the "JA's" who enter a highway at 25 mph.

I have my first scratch after 18 months of ownership. No idea how it happened. As I walk up to the car and see the scratch I think... "I hate people."

Reading through Car and Driver and came across an ad for a product called Quixx care system. Looks like it may be able to solve your scratch problem.

What a horror story. I am cringing as I dread the day I find a ding or scratch on my new G. Make sure you post a pic on how the repairs turn out. It'll be nice to know how you fixed it for future reference.

+1. Sometimes you just have no choice in parking. And sometimes parking spaces are very tight. I make a habit of watching how I open my doors when I get to my car to make sure I don't dent others. I wish other people would do the same.
