Guys, recently my car is behaving differently. When I go over any bumps or any other small imperfections on the road, there is a small crackling noise. It feels like the structure is week just like an old car. Some times there would be noise at one of the back doors and some times near the glove box and many other places depending on the place of the bump on the road.

The noise is low but certainly not there when I got my car. At the time I felt that whole car is very rigid and Strong. Now I feel its week when going on any road imperfections.


Did anyone of you guys have seen this? And any idea what could be wrong? I am thinking of test driving another car from the dealership to see if there is much difference.

oh FYI I have only 3700 miles on mine and have sports package.

 

Is it a cracking noise or a groan? Mine sometimes makes a metallic groan, but I figure it's just the frame flexing. If it's cracking, get it looked at. I have an 07 with just under 15k miles and no cracking noises.

Oh and mine's an S as well.
