Damn. I hate to see that crap done to us guys that care about our rides. At least the damage is only to the door. Take it to the highest end repair place you can find.

Good luck

Yikes! Sorry to hear about the bad news! If it was me, I would have completely flipped out. Unless if she was absolutely drop dead gorgeous, then I "might" restrain myself a little from showing my anger.

Good luck with the repairs. And as mentioned, get that diminished value settlement taken care of. Time to trade in for a new one.

there has been so many times where females in particular would just reverse without even looking and expect cars to stop for them!!

Just last night while driving in a parking garage, the lady just decides to back up without looking! I honk and keep on honking, but the person just stopped then continued again, I honked again! then finally the car stopped... pisses me off man!!!!

I'm really sorry to hear what happened to your car Speed...

Not to steal your thunder, but I had a exact same situation after ONLY 2 weeks of owning the car.

Here is the picture.

Repair bill was $4K+ and took the bodyshop about 2~3 weeks. Of course, I didn't pay a dime.

my first g sedan got rear ended FOUR times while i was stopped at a red light or in traffic on fairfax. once backed into by a van at a gas station. it also got side swipped by an idioit subaru trying to pass me on a one lane road. my second g sedan got rear ended once and then a hit and run supermarket hero destroyed the left quarter panel.

then last week my coupe got hit while parked in front of my work

I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL BRO

Thanks for all the support guys and gals. I know it's just a car that can be replaced/fixed. But I'm sure most of you are like me: We love our cars and do everything in our power to keep them pristine.

Thanks also for all the advices, especially on the diminished value claims. I will most definitely follow up on this as well. I initially wanted to avoid taking the car to the dealer, afraid they will know about this and slash my trade-in value when the time comes to replace the car (assuming my next one will be an Infiniti again), but then.... as long as my diminished value claim pans out I don't really care.

I'll keep you guys posted.

That sucks bro, what sucks more is ppl that do that **** in the parking lots then just drive off. I had that happen to me once before, went to target came out big *** dent in the car side. I always park far away from the general public lol, and not to be sexist or anything but when I see a woman driving any car bigger then a civic I stay far away lol.
